Research Interests:
1. Environmental DNA detection and analysis. The lab detects species of concern, invasive species, and water-borne pathogens.
2. Cellular and molecular aspects of type 2 diabetes. My lab studies gene expression and signal transduction pathways in pancreatic beta cells.
